I still recommend that you don’t migrate until you have to. It seems that Enel X is aware of all of these problems and I am hopeful that they’re working hard to fix many of them prior to the Feb 20 sunset of the JuiceNet (including ) infrastructure. A few frustrating mornings with no charge added! Also, Tesla doesn’t provide any way to schedule when charging should stop - only departure time and that doesn’t work for me. I tried using the car to schedule charging and the JB would not charge the car when the car woke and requested charging. There is no Stop Charging and I find this a huge issue. There is no means to alter any settings when the charger is in ‘pause’ mode. One Enel X support person said that they do this to make sure that charging is working properly - I’d rather have it work the way it used to. This is particularly annoying - I get an alert from Tesla that my car has stopped charging. There seems to be no way to disable the short charging period that happens whenever you plug your car in.After several resets and conflicting information from phone support, disabling and re-enabling scheduled charging, my car is now charging according to my schedule.Oddly, Enel X has chosen to rename their app to Enel X Way.

I’ve been able to reach a ‘workable’ configuration for my JB 40 Pro - but it is not close to what I had using the JuiceNet app.

** Update after several more calls with Enel X ** Would be interested in comments from other JuiceBox owners. They offer no work-arounds or possibility to go back to the ‘legacy’ app once your JuiceBox has been migrated. I spent several hours on the phone with Enel X tech support yesterday and they basically told me to ‘suck it up’ because it is an entirely new app and they’re sorry about the problems. (There is no Stop Charging option in the app and you can’t view or change the scheduled charging settings while charging is Paused.) Once the device goes into Pause mode, there is no way to stop charging without unplugging the car. You’ll get a charging interrupted alert on your phone/watch to add to the annoyance. You can plug your car in during times when charging should be disabled and charging starts immediately and then seems to pause shortly after that when the JuiceBox determines that it shouldn’t be charging. The device doesn’t observe SmartCharging schedules like JuiceNet. It appears that they did little to no regression testing with the new release and foisting an alpha/beta release on the customer base to test it. (They are saying that support for JuiceNet will cease on Feb 20.) JuicePass is a huge step backward and the EnelX people I’ve talked with on several calls openly admit that there are problems with the new app. If you have a JuiceBox and are being forced to migrate to JuicePass (from EV JuiceNet) I would recommend that you hold off as long as you can.
